SETTING : a geriatric day hospital in Li?ge.
PARTICIPANTS : 159 patients with a mean age of 77 ? 5.8 years (63.5 % of women and 36.5% of men) were evaluated by multidisciplinary team between June and September 2005 (41 working days).

RESULTS : 87.4 % of the patients lived at home . The mean number of drugs was 6.9 ? 3.3. Reasons for assessment were: cognitive evaluation ( 72.3 % ), falls (10 %), diabetes (10 %),nutritional assessment (5 %), driving capacity (3 %), follow-up of pressure sore (0.6 %), others ( 15 % ).
Mean scores on CGA tests are noted in table 1.

Mini Nutritional Assessment 19.6 ?4.7
Activities of Daily Living (ADL) 7.9 ?3.5
Instrumental ADL 18.7 ? 7.2
